Abstract: By measuring the relative dynamic elastic modulus and quality loss, the research of the frost resistance of concrete mixing with ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) has been done. The effect of GGBS content on the slump, strength and frost resistance of concrete are analysed, and comparative studying on the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete mixed with frost-resisiting admixture and no frost-resisiting admixture have been analysed. The results indicated that the slump of the concrete increased with the increase of GGBS content; excessive mixing GGBS has a negative effect on the early strength of the concrete and that the frost-resisiting admixture can greatly improve freeze-thaw resistance of concrete.
